Since I’ve been working with Active I’ve enjoyed being a door supervisor as I’ve worked really hard over the years to get to the position I am at and I am determined and willing to learn more about the company and the security industry and work my way up the ranks and progress as I’ve chosen this job not just for money but as a life career and I’ve had the privilege to be able to work with a multitude of amazing staff members who  have enhanced my ability and knowledge as a doorman and I can’t wait to get to know more in depth with my job as door supervisor

I worked for Active security since the company started. I can honestly say best company I’ve worked for, getting shifts on the system we have is really easy. Active are flexible when needed to be due to family issues. Management team are always on hand and help you if your in a bad situation, I struggled and still struggle with my mental health and have a lot of help when I’m feeling low. Active are like a family and couldn’t think of a better team to work for.

I started out with active security Solutions late 2018 as a steward then progress to getting my door supervisor badge I’ve worked with the company for 5 years and I must say confidence boost was given whilst working for these the company was very supportive when got very ill now I’m all clear in the new year of 2024 was made event supervisor so I’m incharge of a team doing events in and around Scarborough can’t thank them enough the different people I’ve met over the years whilst being with the company has been trully amazing and the jobs we can do and be offered can be breathtaking it’s all down to the superb management we have.

I have worked at Active for nearly 2 years and at a variety of events and venues doing a variety of job roles. I started as a steward at Scarborough Open Air theatre before competing my training and become part of the PIT team for the 2024 season and also being part of the PIT teams at Scarborough Spa. There is always work available and no two shifts are the same. Colleagues have become friends and going to work doesn’t feel like chore.
